West Coast Holiday came to be in 2003 when lead singer Will Weaver decided to throw a fairly less than romantic concert for his girlfriend Gen as a Christmas present. The show went down in front of a crowd of 11 including two house cats, Will's parents and Gen's mother. What a show. But from there it was strictly business. Since the early days the band has completely revampted it's style to incorporate a variety of styles such as jazz, ska, Philadelphia Street Punk, rock and acoustic rock. Today West Coast Holiday is working on putting out an album geared towards it's early days and the subject of many of it's fast-paced heavy melodies, Will's ex-girlfriend.
